Bronson In Blue was rewarded for recent solid efforts with a victory in the three mile handicap hurdle at Tipperary.
The eight-year-old gelding made good headway to get in contention after the fourth last in this staying test.
He travelled smoothly for Conor Orr to draw level with Rare Conor at the penultimate flight and soon took over as that rival came under a drive.
The new leader asserted before the last and ran on strongly to post a four and three quarter length success at 5/1.
Junio Rattler (10/1) came through for second ahead of 4/1 favourite That's Lifebuoy and gambled-on Siberian Star (9/2).
Trainer Lorna Fowler said: "Of all the horses who deserves a win, it is that horse. He is little star, he's small but I love him!
"There is no screen to watch and I haven't really seen it but from what Conor said he was just travelling so easy all the time.
"I have done very little with him since his last run and maybe keeping him fresh was the key and he did it pretty easily today.
"He had been knocking on the door and thank goodness it opened today. His owner Michael Conlon isn't far from me and will be absolutely delighted.
"He has been on the go for a bit so we'll see, but he may go again - he'll tell us.
"I have a few, not too many, for the summer and I have some nice young ones coming through."
