The Starter reported Top Breeze (IRE) was reluctant to load, Richard Hughes was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Top Breeze (IRE) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
An enquiry was held to consider interference a furlong out, involving the winner Royal Pleasure(IRE), ridden by Luke Morris, Muscika (GB), placed third, ridden by Jason Watson and Durdle Door (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Aiden Keeley.
Being a 7lb claimer, Keeley was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
The interference was found to be accidental as Durdle Door (GB), shifted marginally right when Morris committed his mount to a gap, taking Muscika (GB) off its intended line.
