The winner, Sullivan Bay (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Kempton on 10 January 2024, where the gelding finished seventh of nine runners, beaten 19 ½ lengths.
Gary Brown’s explanation that Sullivan Bay (IRE) had benefitted from the reapplication of the tongue tie, was noted.
The gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, Finley Marsh reported that New York Bay (IRE), unplaced, stopped quickly and Alex Jary reported that Buford (GB), unplaced, stopped quickly.
