A.P. Heskin, rider of Caduceus trained by P. Hughes, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was badly hampered by a faller. The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr.P.L.Malone, that K.C. Sexton, rider of Carry Each Other,had weighed in 1.8Ibs overweigh. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having taken his previous record in this regard into account,they therefore suspended him for two race days. Mr Eddie Irwin, trainee Steward attended this enquiry. .
