He gave him a good cute ride as he gave him a breather up the hill and he came home well. He has won nowhere else and he's a funny type of horse and can't be ridden with blinkers at home. He won't stay two and a half miles and won't go on hard ground. John J Walsh, trainer
The Stewards requested a report from John J. Walsh, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Page Turner, placed first, as compared with its recent run. John J. Walsh stated that his charge ran prominently at Naas on 8th February until emptying in the home straight on very testing ground over 2miles 4 furlongs. At that time some of his horses were under a cloud and a return to form for the yard has been evident recently. He also stated that his charge was dropped back in trip today and had gained all three career victories here at Limerick. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.
