Gamble landed at Timeless makes all
She has run five times over five furlongs and she has won three of them. Six furlongs draws her out too much. There aren't enough five furlong races. She will go for a Listed race back here but it's not for a while. I might look towards England with her. The year has been a disaster for her as she wants good ground.
Leitir finds Elusive too good
The penny is just dropping with him. He is a big backward 2yo and he has taken time. He'll be an exciting 3yo but we are hoping there is another nice 2yo race in him but it's all about next year with him. Six furlongs is ideal for him but next year he will get further.
Friendless Walter wins on debut
Twelfth time lucky for Rigoletta
Age is just a number for Toufan Express
He ran a cracking race here in March and was fourteen or fifteen pounds better off today. I don't know what was wrong with him at Galway but he ran a couple of good races before that. We will see what the handicapper does and he might run in Killarney on Tuesday. He will then go to Listowel as he likes it there. He is a classy horse and he has won two Premier Handicaps. He had a bit of leg trouble in the early days but I wish I had others like him. He has been a great servant.
Coach eases to victory for Halford & Foley
He was very unlucky on his last two runs. He was entitled to win today. I didn't think he would win by that far but I think it was more the lack of opposition. He drew the right division of that race. He wasn't winning out of turn. He loves that surface and we will keep tipping away with him here.
Saint provides Halford & Foley with quick double
He likes to be ridden quietly. When he is among horses he panics and holds his breath so we had a tongue tie on him. You are always vulnerable when being ridden from behind like that. The step up in trip suited him and he loves that surface and we will keep him to it. Hopefully now that he has got his head in front there will be more to come. His owner Paul Rooney has been very patient and he deserved that win.
Tramp lands major on-course gamble
My horses have been coughing the last five months. Andrew Thornton deserved that as he rides out a lot for me. She will come back here for her next run.
