The Stewards interviewed Mr P.J. Casey, rider of Eight Till Late, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the rider was in breach of Regulation 10.3(F),10.3(G) and 10.4. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, they suspended him for 2 race days. The Stewards fined Anthony Mulholland, trainer, €350 for lodging a passport in respect of Realt An Duin (GB), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
An I.N.H. flat race for five, six and seven yrs old that have not won a *race Weights - 12st; Mares allowed 7lb Riders - Qualified under I.N.H.S. Rules Professional under I.N.H.S. Rules (other than Apprentices) who have not lost the right to claim the 7lb allowance under Rule 52 (iii) (up to and including 23rd April) may also ride in this race.
