I was a bit disappointed with him in Naas when he turned in and looked like he had a chance and just sort of got run out of it. That was a competitive race in Naas. Sean was less than confident before it - he thought the track might not suit him and the ground was a bit quick. He handled it quite well in a small field, he jumped well and stays well. He could go to Fairyhouse or Punchestown but he has also schooled well over fences and he may go over fences soon. Noel Meade, trainer
A hurdle race for five yrs old and upwards which, at entry, are rated 120 or less, also open to horses, which at entry, are rated 121130 Weights - 11st 2lb Penalties - Performances before 19th March for every 1lb above the rating of 120 1lb extra; On or after 19th March for each hurdle race won 4lb extra; Note- Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 130 or less.
