THETWINCAMDRIFT is a nice, big horse with the scope to do well over jumps and stayed on well to win here. Trainer Austin Leahy has a high opinion of the gelding and reported "he blew up on his debut here in December but I couldn't get him into a race since then because of the balloting problem."
He added "he is a good staying horse and will run over hurdles soon before going chasing next season."
Point to point winner JESSIES DREAM was well backed following an encouraging bumper debut at Punchestown and narrowly failed here. He is a capable sort who may win a bumper.
FOSSUM was behind THETWINCAMDRIFT here in December and ran a sound race in third while OSCAR WHAT, who has 'hit the deck' on a few occasions in point to points and over hurdles, ran a sound race in fourth.
Newcomer ADAMANTIX, a half brother to Armaturk, looks a horse to possibly do better in time but was a little disappointing on his debut.
