Roberto gets off mark over fences
I thought we were going to go close in the Drinmore before he fell. We might miss Christmas now as he's had three very close races and we had to comeback here today because things hadn't gone right for him. I'm thrilled with him and he jumped brilliantly and in time I think he'll get three miles. As regard plans we'll just have to wait and see.
Geraghty at his best aboard Donnas Palm
My only concern was that he might not get two and half miles so the slow pace really suited us. He's a good horse we just don't know how good he is but he's up there with Go Native and Muirhead. I'm not too sure where we'll go next. I don't know what happened him last year maybe he did too much racing too quickly.
Shinrock Paddy impresses at Navan
We've always thought a lot of this horse and he showed us that today.
Moville back in the winners enclosure
He just flattened out from the last. He wants a real good gallop and he handles that ground. It was nice to see him get his head in front. He's entered in the Leopardstown Hurdle (formerly known as the Pierce Hurdle) and he'll probably take his chance in that.
Gavin scores with Benalma
We ran him over two miles and two furlongs at Thurles and Alan said it was too short for him. Alan suggested that we come here with him and everything worked out well today. Alan did everything right. I was going to go chasing with him but we might try and find a three mile hurdle race over the Christmas for him.
Glenquest wins for O'Brien/Madden
He's progressing nicely. We have him entered in the Paddy Power at Christmas. The plan is to go there so hopefully he'll get into the race he might go up in the handicap just enough after that win.
Drumbaloo takes last at Navan
I thought maybe he might have been caught for a bit of toe but Robbie said he was idling in front. He wasn't drilled for today and we'll give him a break now. He's a horse with a big future.
