Review navan 13th Dec Shinrock Paddy showed his class with a runaway success in the Barry & Sandra Kelly Memorial Hurdle at Navan.The victory gave trainer Paul Nolan and jockey Alain Cawley a Grade One double after Joncol's success in the John Durkan at Punchestown last Sunday.The 7-2 chance joined long-time leader The Hurl four out and after holding a clear lead three out, went on to score by 15 lengths from the 11-10 favourite Rhyl Accord."I was a little worried when they were leaving the back straight as 'Squeaky' (Cawley) was changing his hands on him," said Nolan."It was a brave thing of him to kick on approaching the straight but it worked out well."We will aim for Cheltenham Festival now and he'll either go for the Neptune Investment Novices' Hurdle or the Albert Bartlett."Noel Meade's Donnas Palm completed a hat-trick over jumps in the Grade Two Giltspur Scientific Tara Hurdle.In a race run at a crawl for almost a circuit, Donnas Palm was sent off at 4-9 to supplement victories at Punchestown and Fairyhouse and cruised home by two and a half lengths from Give It A Time.Meade said: "My only concern was that he might not get two and half miles so the slow pace really suited us."He's a good horse, we just don't know how good he is but he's up there with Go Native and Muirhead.
