Clarcam one for Elliott and Sexton
Bryan sat up on him the other morning and we thought he'd need the run and Gigginstown were good enough to let him off, but unfortunately it's not worked out for him. It wasn't expected but it's nice. He'll more than likely go chasing now. Touch wood the way he jumps hurdles he should have no problem with fences.
Hash Brown in a canter round Limerick
It was a poor race I suppose. I actually thought he was in trouble passing the stands. I felt he was niggling him a bit.
Fogarty flying with third winner since injury
Mikey (Fogarty) hasn't returned when Mark (Walsh) rode her to win at Listowel but in fairness to Mark, she wouldn't have won only for his very good ride. The ground was quicker than ideal for her then and she seemed to be feeling it a little. I've no plan at the moment for her but she'll probably go for another handicap next. The ground here today was beautiful and they have done a fantastic job with it.

Burn And Turn wins dramatic Limerick chase
she deserved that as she had a cracking run in the Galway Plate and also ran well at Gowran (behind Sizing Europe) the last day. I avoided all the trouble (in the race) but got there sooner that I wanted. She jumps well, is tough and tries hard. That is possibly her last run of the year and I can see her coming back for the Mares Hurdle at Cheltenham in March.
Shanpallas the Munster National star
He was a bit inexperienced at Listowel. His jumping probably cost him. He was the right side of the handicapper in Listowel so we fancied him, but I was a bit worried about his weight today as it was a big ask. His jumping today was much better. I actually think he is more of a two and a half miler than a three miler. That's my first winner for JP McManus. He only bought him two and a half weeks ago, but in fairness his previous owners are here now and are delighted he won.
