The winner, Marble Moon (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Taunton on 19 February 2019 where the gelding finished seventh of 10, beaten by 63 1/2 lengths.
The representative of Evan Williams explained that Marble Moon (IRE) had freshened up after a break of 82 days; the gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, James Bowen reported that Mac Tottie (GB), which was pulled up, lost action; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding found him to be lame on his right- fore leg.
