Layfayette another for Meade/Keane alliance
That's great. He got into a lot of trouble the last day at the Curragh and we fancied him today. He jumped very quick at the Curragh and Colin made a decision to take him back, but when he took him back he could never get out after that. He did come home really well. I bought him at the breeze-up sales. I'm delighted for the owner because it's his first venture on the Flat. Colin said the saddle went back and he plunged for the first furlong today, he was thinking 'what's going to happen now'. It's great to have Colin on your side, he's a lovely fella along with everything else and we get on very well. He's dead straight to deal with and doesn't pull any punches. I leave it up to him and told him to ride him whatever way he wanted. He knows more about riding than I do. I suppose you'd have to look at the final now. The other fella (Helvic Dream) is there as well. This lad mightn't handle real soft ground whereas the other horse would handle all sorts of ground.

Cityman makes all to set up tilt at big prize
We're delighted with him. He missed a couple of days after Tipperary and he wasn't 100 percent fit today. That was even more impressive. We wanted to give him a run today because he's in the Bold Lad next Sunday and he's also in the Ayr Gold Cup. We'll see how he comes out of the race and he'll go for either the Ayr Gold Cup or the Bold Lad. We thought he'd take the run so we're very impressed. He's a pretty smart horse on his day, when he's right.
Air Force Jet streaks home in Navan
He did it well. I fancied him today as I thought it was a big step down in class for him compared to what the rest of them had done. He had the experience, he travelled at a five-furlong pace and put it to bed well. He got his ground today. He probably is a stakes horse when he gets conditions right and I think that's where we'll be looking next.
Fawn gives Cromwell across the card double
She was crying out for that trip on that ground,. The last day in Down Royal it just went too soft for her. I'm delighted as Mick (Rowland) is local here and lived in Navan for years so it's great for him.

Some celebrations there! I'm just delighted for everyone connected, the people involved in her are brilliant loyal supporters. She's been a bit unlucky, through trainer error, horses falling in front of her and saddles going forward. She just hasn't had any luck. I knew the trip was right today but was worried about the ground, but she obviously handles it well. She's a very tough little filly, a cheap buy, so I'm delighted. Siobhan is my right-hand woman in the yard, she's brilliant and her riding is getting better every day. She definitely has a career ahead of her. To get up and pip Gavin Ryan, one of the best apprentices in the country, you couldn't ask for more than that and I'm delighted for her. She kept her going, kept her balanced and it's a fairytale to win on the nod.
Keane doubles up on 'jolly' Accountability
He's after coming on an awful lot from Leopardstown and he looks great. We were fairly confident today but it was a slowly run race. He was still a bit green at home and we knew that he'd come on again from that so we wanted to ride him a little bit cold. The way the race was run he ran a little bit keen under Colin and got to the front and a lot of daylight. That's as quick as he wants the ground. A faster run will suit him a lot better and he will come on an awful lot for greenness. He's a horse going forward and he's shown us that at home since Leopardstown. We got that out of the way now and we'll see what happens after that. We'll have a bit of run with him.
