A.E. Lynch, rider of Capital Force trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got a fright after making a mistake at the second fence. B. Hayes, rider of Sorrow (FR) trained by Patrick Griffin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was pulled up having burst a blood vessel. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Sorrow (FR), trained by Patrick Griffin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage post race.
