R.C. Colgan, rider of Redclue trained by Mrs Gillian Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up thereafter
J.W. Kennedy, rider of Our Rachael trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a bad mistake down the back
The Stewards interviewed J.B. Kane, rider of Running In Heels, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that J.B. Kane was in breach of Regulation 10.4 in that he had failed to give his mount time to respond. Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 1 raceday
