Short-head win for Hotel Wren
he was working well but when you come to Leopardstown you say to yourself that you are probably running into group horses. He hit the line well and Oisin said he'll go even further, he said he was only starting to run when he got there. He's a Dragon Pulse, a lot of them want a cut in the ground but that fella goes well on top of the ground. He's a great mover. He was just touched off last year in Cork and he learned a good bit from his couple of runs. I haven't thought any further than today, we'll have a think about it and see what happens.

Donnacha O'Brien eyes Epsom with Ballysax winner
he's always been a beautiful horse and he's matured well over the winter. It was a lovely performance and it's nice to see him able to quicken like that because I know he stays well. He's going to be better when he goes a mile-and-a-half but I think the fact that he can quicken means he's got a bit of class. The plan has been here, Derrinstown (Stud Derby Trial, in May) and then Epsom. Obviously everything has to go right back here the next day but that's been the plan for a while and that's what we'll stick to. He'll be fine on any ground, I'd have no problems with soft ground and no problems with good ground. He's very versatile.
Dublin doubles for Ryan & O'Brien
I fancied her in Dundalk (March 4) but she ran bad for whatever reason. I thought she was well handicapped and thankfully she showed it today. I think ten furlongs is fine for her, eight is probably too sharp, especially around Dundalk and we found that out the last day. I wouldn't rule out 12 down the line. We'll see what the handicapper does, she could go for another handicap and if she keeps progressing we could try for black-type somewhere. She's got a good pedigree so she's a valuable filly and if she could get black-type down the line it would be fantastic. That would be the long-term goal.
Easy win for gambled Haziya
she won well. We thought she was working nicely and capable of winning off her mark but I didn't see that coming to be honest.
