Tarquinius easily wins Leopardstown opener
I am delighted for his owners Mary & Tom Furlong. Tom put in all the gallops in the new yard and this fellow has more than paid him back now. We probably ran him back too soon the last day. He stays really well and he really wants further than this.
Sizing takes Gold on third start over hurdles
He jumps and gallops. We dropped him back to two miles at Navan the last day and he ran well behind Don Cossack but looking at that performance I wonder why I dropped him back as he really wants further again. He is a massive hose and is a real stayer and one to look forward to over fences. I would imagine he will go for a novice over 2m 4f plus now and I wouldn't be rushing to run him on fast ground.
Windermere Lord's it over rivals
He ran two blinding races over fences before this. He'll get three miles in time but, on this ground, I didn't want to subject him to a gruelling race. I'll chat with the owner to see where we go but over that distance he's only getting going at the end. He handles that ground well, and I won't run him on fast ground. He's got a bright future.
Patrick Mullins breaks the record on Zuzka
Paul Townend got off her the last day and he said that she wanted the extra trip. She is improving all the time.
Rudi has Nolan dreaming of Cheltenham
He'd a great run the last day at Fairyhouse, although the two and a half miles was on the short side. The plan was to run here once he came out of that okay and qualify for Cheltenham. He looked a million dollars today, and I wasn't afraid of the ground. The bit of rain last night meant it wasn't too sticky. Ian gave him a great ride. The original plan was to go back chasing but I've never had a runner at Cheltenham before so hopefully he'll get in and the ground won't be too fast. I'd also like to thank the owner John Prunty who is a great supporter of mine, and has had horses with me for a good few years.
Outlander rounds off great day for the Mullins'
He doesn't show that ability at home, he seems to keep it for the race track. We won't go hurdling with him yet we will try and find another winners bumper before the ground dries out. His pedigree would suggest he likes a good cut in the ground. We will keep him for novice hurdles next season.
