Approaching the four furlong marker, DISEY’S EDGE, unplaced, hung quickly left despite the riders best efforts, causing interference to Strathspey Stretto (IRE), unplaced, who in turn caused interference to Tell William (GB), placed third, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, William Cox reported that Disey's Edge (GB), unplaced, jumped left from the stalls and also hung left throughout, Kieran Shoemark reported that Tell William (GB), placed third, suffered interference approaching the four furlong marker.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Strathspey Stretto (IRE), unplaced, was lame on its left fore.
