Tamrat looks smart newcomer for Lyons in Curragh maiden
It was beautiful and we're delighted, especially with the day that's in it, for Malachy (Ryan — Moyglare Stud manager), and Miss Haefner for this to come to plan. It wasn't really the plan though as we genuinely thought he'd take a run, he's a big horse. He hasn't missed a day but our horses do take a run. He's a gentleman at home and from the word go we've liked him. Colin had ridden a horse for Michael O'Callaghan in the race that he liked (Ocean Conquest) and the form of Donnacha (O'Brien's) horse (Starliner) has worked out well. We knew that it wasn't going to be an easy race so for him to do that, and the way he stuck his head out, we're delighted. Colin said it's beautiful ground out there and he wouldn't want it any quicker. With the size of him it'll be next year. It opens doors for us, he's in some big races but we'll see how he comes out of the race. He still would have had a hard race today because it was a shock to the system. We'll take baby steps.
Opera hits high note in Group 3
She's a lovely filly and she's had a few lovely runs,. She had a lovely run the first day and then the second day she ran a stormer as well. Ryan thought he was going to beat the winner the last day, the line just came a little bit soon but she's come forward lovely. These Justifys improve, the minute they go up in distance they take off.
Letsbefrankaboutit wins the Group 3 Round Tower Stakes for Paddy Twomey
He learned a lot the last day when he had to race on his own, he won his race,. He was a bit babyish before the race the last day but he was very good today, didn't put a foot wrong, and did what I hoped he'd do. It takes a lot for me to run a maiden in a Group 3 but I just thought he might be fit for it. I was going to go to Cork next week for a six-furlong maiden but I just put him in this, I just had a feeling that it might be the right move and it worked out. I did ask Billy about five times if it was the right thing to do!. He's a big horse, we won't overdo it this year and hopefully we'll have a nice horse for a couple of years to come. He's entered in everything and we'll see how he is, I think he'll be a nice horse in time.

Coeur D'or backs up BMW Mile win with Irish Cambridgeshire success
He's a tough, very genuine, game horse,. In his younger days he was a very immature horse so I gave him a lot of time and it all paid dividends. He loves to come from off the pace and he's very consistent. He ran very well in the Nasrullah (when third at Leopardstown), he was only beaten over a length. Ground-wise he's pretty versatile but he doesn't want extremes, he wouldn't handle very soft or very firm. The Northfields Handicap here on Champions Weekend will be his next race.
Arnhem ploughs lone furrow to win apprentices handicap under Kearney
We're over the moon, that's brilliant. You couldn't ask for a nicer place to have a winner. We've had him from May. He's had brilliant form in the past and he deserves that win, he's been too long without a win and he's had such good runs. He's such a good horse. He has a lovely temperament and he's a brilliant wee horse to have anything to do with. We only have him and another one as part of the syndicate for David, that's all and a couple of breakers.
Asian Daze doubles up in taking Curragh nursery under Sheehy
That was great. She did well in Gowran and when I saw the rating of 80 I thought seven furlongs at the Curragh should suit her really well,. She bounced out of Gowran really well. She's not big but she's tough, she's hardy and she just loves galloping. Who knows where she's going to end up. I'm delighted for the owner, he's an owner/breeder and it's the first horse I've had for him. He has a few of his friends and family involved as well.
