The bit of experience won the day as he's deadly to jump, . He's definitely a lot slicker than the favourite. He'd a very good run in Galway. I thought the ground in Galway was a bit on the fast side for him, and it is lovely jumping ground here. We'll probably keep him going and step him up in grade. The Stewards interviewed C. Brassil, rider of Don Patricio, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that C. Brassil was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (c) in that he used his whip unneccessarily after having clearly achieved his best possible place. Having considered his record in this regard, the Stewards suspended C. Brassil for 1 raceday.
