Permission was given for Punta Arenas (USA) to wear a hood in the parade ring and for Mushirif (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
The Raceday privilege request in relation to Punta Arenas (USA), trained by George Scott, was late being submitted.
Scott was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all Raceday privilege requests are submitted before 1pm on the day before racing.
An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference on the run to the line involving Mushirif (IRE), placed second, ridden by David Egan and Out Of Reason (GB), placed third, ridden by Cieren Fallon.
The Stewards considered that the interference had not improved Mushirif (IRE)’s placing as there was no contact between the runners and Out Of Reason (GB) appeared to lose no momentum in the incident with Mushirif (IRE) always holding him by a neck at the line.
Egan was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to edge right-handed without sufficient correction, intimidating Out Of Reason (GB) off its intended line.
Following the race, Callum Shepherd reported that Punta Arenas (USA), placed sixth, hung right- handed.
