An enquiry was held to consider interference after jumping the last hurdle involving Brayhill (IRE), placed third, ridden by Alan Doyle and Enfin Phil (FR), placed fourth, ridden by Jack Hogan.
Being a 7lb claimer, Hogan was offered accompaniment in the enquiry, but declined.
Doyle was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift left without sufficient correction taking Hogan off his intended line.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that THAT’S A GIVEN (FR), unplaced, lost its right fore shoe.
