Upon leaving the stalls, Red Allure (GB) (GB), unplaced, jumped very awkwardly and shifted left-handed, badly hampering Refuge (GB), placed third, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start involving Edge Of The Bay (GB), placed third, ridden by Tyler Heard, Amberine (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Gina Mangan and Qaaraat (GB), placed second, ridden by Angus Villiers.
Being 7lb claimers, Heard and Mangan were offered the opportunity to have someone accompany them in the enquiry, but both declined.
Villiers was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed, towards the rail when insufficiently clear, crowding Amberine (GB) onto Edge Of The Bay (GB), which was briefly hampered.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately half a furlong after the start involving Captain Ryan (GB), unplaced, ridden by Liam Keniry, True Hero (GB), placed eighth, ridden by Harry Russell and Blue Venture (GB), placed seventh, ridden by Hollie Doyle.
Doyle was cautioned for careless riding as she allowed her mount to hang-left handed, without sufficient correction causing True Hero (GB) to be intimidated onto a free-running Captain Ryan (GB), which had to be slightly checked by its rider.
Approaching the final furlong, Blue Venture (GB), placed seventh, hung quickly right-handed, bumping and inconveniencing True Hero (GB), placed eighth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Blue Venture (GB).
Following the race, Andrew Mullen reported that Red Allure (GB), unplaced, jumped left-handed from the stalls, causing the saddle to slip.
Mullen further reported that Red Allure (GB) ran too freely.
