Permission was given for Sands Chorus (GB) to go early to post.
The Stewards enquired into the start of the race where Sean Kirrane, the rider of Sands Chorus (GB), was unseated upon leaving the stalls.
Kirrane was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that no other horse or rider was involved, and the incident had been caused by the gelding anticipating the start which had caused Kirrane to become unbalanced whilst he was in the process of removing the blindfold.
The Stewards were satisfied that Sands Chorus (GB) was deemed a runner.
