Blairmayne uses experience to see off his rivals
The last day he wasn’t beaten too far on his first outing of the year. He improved at home and was in good form today. He seems to love the track and Wayne gave him a brilliant ride. It’s great for a nine-year-old to come out and do that. When he gets a bit warm beforehand, that is usually a good sign. He’s in a Premier Handicap over seven furlongs at Cork on May 6 but Wayne thinks he’s still better over six. Cork is an easy seven so we’ll see. We can also aim him at Premier Handicaps like the Scurry and Bold Lad later in the year.

'Stronger' Romantic Proposal back with a bang
I just tick away with her and haven’t done a lot with her. She was good. They have done a good job here with the ground. They just took the sting out of the ground and she was fine on it. The dream is still alive. I knew she was in great form but I thought she might just need it. She has definitely got stronger. She came back from her winter break looking brilliant and hasn’t missed a day. In hindsight 3/1 about a Group 1 winner in a Listed race might have been a bit of value!. She is in two Group 2 six-furlong races next month, the Greenlands and the Duke Of York. The jockey and the trainer are sitting on the fence as regards her best trip so we’ll probably run her over six and then make up our mind about Royal Ascot. The Duke Of York is sponsored by a certain crowd called Clipper Logistics but the Greenlands is a lot nearer home!

Mullacash Buzz off on holidays after third win for Dowling
Jack was super on him and I was just glad he didn’t get collared in the last 50 (yards). He’s been some little horse for us and can go out on his holidays now and has earned it. He’s won three for us now. He’s been a superstar for us. I have seven in training but won’t have too many runners now for a while. We have a few handicappers to go to war with.
Magic Charm gives Lupini and Lordan a brace
He’d a good solid run the last day and has proved to be competitive at this level before today. All the conditions were right so we were hopeful. All the horses seem to be in good form so hopefully it will continue. Wayne said a mile or a mile and two he will have no problems. He likes nice safe ground.
