Inside the final furlong, Away Wit Da Fairys (IRE), placed third, edged marginally right at the same time as the winner, Ruith Le Tu (GB), shifted left before being quickly corrected by its rider, causing Storm Asset (GB), unplaced, to be checked and in so doing, Sunsets Dreamers (IRE), unplaced, had to be steadied off heels, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Jamie Spencer reported that Goldsmith (IRE), placed second, was slowly away; Kieran O’Neill reported that Away Wit Da Fairys (IRE), placed third, hung right; Owen Lewis reported that Outtatheblue (GB), unplaced, ran too free and Ray Dawson reported that Sunsets Dreamers (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
