Shortly after the 4 furlong marker Glory Fighter (GB), placed third, lugged left-handed moving La Boo (GB), unplaced, slightly off its intended line, who in turn gave a bump to the winner, Birkenhead (GB), causing the gelding's quarters to be turned.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Joanna Mason reported that La Boo (GB), unplaced, suffered interference approximately 4 furlongs out.
