An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line when Snuff Box (IRE), placed second, ridden by Charlie Deutsch, interfered with the winner, St Erney (GB), ridden by Kieron Edgar.
Deutsch was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction resulting in Edgar being marginally carried off his intended line.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Vodka All The Way (IRE), placed seventh, had a wound on its right hind leg and the winner, St Erney (GB), lost its left fore shoe.
