An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the bend going out on the final circuit when Alfredo (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Luke Morris, interfered with Watersmeet (GB), placed third, ridden by Joe Fanning, which in turn interfered with Arch My Boy (GB), placed fifth, ridden by Hector Crouch.
Morris was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to edge slightly left-handed on the bend when insufficiently clear of Watersmeet (GB) tightening that runner onto Arch My Boy (GB) which was bumped and became unbalanced.
Following the race, Dougie Costello reported that Golden Wolf (IRE), placed sixth, stopped quickly.
