The Stewards enquired into the circumstances whereby Peregrine Run, trained by Peter Fahey, and ridden by K.C

Sexton, had to be resaddled due to a wrong number cloth being fitted. Evidence was heard from the rider, trainer and Ms A. O'Keeffe, IHRB Clerk of the Scales. Ms O'Keeffe outlined the weighing out procedure under the current Covid protocols and accepted that she had mistakenly told the rider to get a different number cloth than was required and furthermore that she had confirmed the weighing out procedure on her digital scales. Peter Fahey stated that trainer's at this current time are not allowed into the weigh room at the time of weighing out and on receipt of the saddle he believed that everything was in order. K.C. Sexton stated that the Clerk of the Scales had informed him to collect cloth number 5 instead of cloth number 4. Having considered evidence, the Stewards informed all persons that Covid protocols had led to changes but reminded Ms O'Keeffe, Peter Fahey and K.C

Sexton to be more careful in their responsibilities in the future
