The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the colt, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Approximately 2 furlongs out, Mythical Molly (IRE), unplaced, veered sharply left-handed as the rider pulled his whip through to correct the filly, and into the path of Bay Breeze (GB), placed third, which was checked in its run for several strides, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that there was no riding offence involved.
For some distance inside the final 1½ furlongs, Korker (IRE), placed second, hung persistently right- handed despite the riders best efforts to straighten the colt, intimidating Catch Cunningham (IRE), placed fourth, off its intended line but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and it had not improved the placing of Korker (IRE).
Following the race, Luke Morris reported that Mythical Molly (IRE) hung both ways and Nicola Currie reported that Navello (GB), unplaced, was restless in the stalls.
