Marchons claims opener at Bellewstown
He's a work in progress. He's owned by Graham (Bradley) who was very good to me when I was riding in England so I am returning the favour. We didn't know if he was any good or not until we got stuck into him. We thought we would win a little race like this as time went on. There's more improvement in him and being by Pour Moi he will get further. At this moment in time, looking at him, he could be a Galway nursery horse on the Saturday. He appreciates a little bit of ease in the ground. I'm delighted to train a winner for Graham as he was good to the young lads in the north of England. He was good to me, so you return the favour when you can.
Yuften strikes in another claimer
He was the one to beat. We only claimed him a couple of weeks ago and we had no real training done on him, he had had about five or six days on the beach. He was on the beach every day since he ran here the other night. He's a grand horse for these type of races and he didn't run badly in the handicap the other night either. He's not a bad horse and if we still have him we'll run away with him in these type of races, and if we don't then the best of luck to someone who does claim him. We claimed him for a couple of cousins and relations, so it is a local win for them and that is what we wanted. It was great.

Sweetest clings on for McCreery & Crosse
That's Nathan's 7lb gone as well, so it great that he did it on one of our own. She's just there for the apprentices to ride. She's great for the kids to ride - a big, solid tank. She's a saint because she stood there for 10 minutes but jumped well and got over to the rail. We'll keep messing about with her!
Aasleagh Fawn delights Cromwell
She was a little bit disappointing the last day as I thought she would nearly draw in Ballinrobe. The owners are local, so it's great to win for everyone. I would think so, definitely (jump a hurdle). We went to the Flat with her because she wasn't big enough but she is now.
Dubai does the business for McConnell
He had run very well in Wexford over two miles in a pipe opener and this had been the plan all along and it came off. Sometimes once in a blue moon you feel you have a horse perfect and he was it. I was just praying I was right!. He's a real terrier, he's not over big but he just gallops and gallops and if something comes to him he puts his head down. He puts everything into it. He is probably best undercooked if anything. Towards the end of last year we probably ran him too much on quick ground and probably soured him a bit. The owners are over from America so it is brilliant. I suppose we will have to look at Galway. It will be a lot harder in Galway but we will have to look at it. For the people that own this, this is their Galway and Cheltenham but we might look at Galway if he sneaks into the bottom of big handicap hurdle on the Saturday or the Sunday over two mile five, two mile six.
