Brunelle makes it two from three
I can claim no credit for that. I went to the sales during the week, I had the entries done and had a line drawn through the race. I came back and seen that she was entered, the lads put her in,. I was protecting her for the Foran sales race but the lads in their wisdom put her in so I take absolutely no responsibility for that and fair play to them as they are after getting us a winner. She had earplugs in today. She has been a bit gassy. Not rushing her and going to the races the other day and taking her out, with the heavy ground at the Curragh, was ideal as it was a nice day out without killing her. We put the earplugs in today because she's a busy little girl. For the prize-money she'll go for the Forans final now. The question mark is the trip (seven furlongs) and the ground.
Pocotaligo edges thriller in claimer
That was hard work! We only have him a couple of weeks and he's a smashing big horse so hopefully we hold on to him,. I think he'd have a grand future up here for the winter. Dusty (Foley) said they thought an awful lot of him in Harrington's at once stage and then his form just petered out a little bit. He's a nice horse and it's my first runner ever for Noel (Hayes of Genesis Thoroughbred Club). It was grand to get a good start so the only way I can go now is down!. He's a lovely horse and he gave him a great ride. He sort of half stole it from the start so it was a brilliant ride too. It's great for everybody.
Keane ahead by four in the Leadership Race
That last day just wasn't him. He's by an Australian horse in Brazen Beau and the ground turned heavy on the day so we drew a line through it,. We needed to see him up here and if he didn't perform tonight he was going to the sales. He's performed so we will keep him. There should be another nursery in him but he should be better at three. He's still a work in progress.
Favourite Fort Myers takes feature at Dundalk
I jumped to make to make the running but Colin wanted to go quicker so that was fine,. I just said I'd slot in behind them. I just had to wait a few strides for my run but once I did get out he quickened up nicely. He loves this kind of surface and likes a bend to run around so I'd imagine you'd have to think about it (Breeder's Cup). I'll leave that to Dad but I'd imagine he's certainly in the mix.

Orr beats Slattery to draw level in Apprentice title race
I'd say the blinkers just woke him up a little bit. He even raced lazy there, . He ran no race at all in the Curragh on his first handicap. Maybe the ground was a bit easier that day and I'd say he just likes the better ground. He is a bit laid back. I wouldn't be surprised if another step up in trip mightn't do him any harm. He's only doing enough. I'll have to talk to his owner and see what the plan is.
