Going - Good To Soft. Overcast and showery
Sizing gets the better of Duress
Bliss for connections as Ms delivers
She is a nice one, she has always been nice at home and she will improve.
Cara's scores on first start over hurdles
He was a little bit disappointing at Cork but he came back a bit sore after that. He should improve for that and he is crying out for further. He has schooled well and we will look for a little novice hurdle for him now.
Prince Of Fire romps home at Maze
He met every hurdle perfectly today. He wants good ground so went wide and it turned out great. He was a bit unlucky in Galway where he was nearly brought down. He's a gorgeous big horse. He'll go back over fences. He's a hard horse to place.
Third time lucky for Sir Ector at Down Royal
He was a little bit unlucky that he didn't draw on his last two hurdle outings. The application of blinkers helped him (wore them for the first time at Leopardstown on his last start). He'll run on the flat next. He is a big galloping horse and finished second at Longchamp to a horse that is now rated 116. He wouldn't want it any softer. I thought he had loads in the tank. He was very disappointing at first and a bit tricky after coming from France but he is coming on in small steps.
Runner takes full advantage of his opportunity
He wants a big galloping track. He ran well at Cork but he keeps getting balloted out. He doesn't come downhill. He got a lovely ride and I thought he would win. He will stay three miles. I train in Skerries and have four horses in training at the moment.
Another for Kelly as Icon takes the bumper
He didn't handle the track at Kilbeggan but he has always worked like a good horse. I've got a good bunch of horses. I train just two fields away from Coolmore in Tipperary. He is owned by the One For The Ditch Syndicate which is headed by Jim Payne from Dublin and he is for sale.
