Arcanears confirms his liking for polytrack
It's a lovely race to win, he won it last year as well. The handicapper will tell you he's 16lb better on the all-weather than he is on the turf and it's obviously right. He just loves it here and he had a beautiful draw. Mikey is great value for the 5lb and I'd say that made all the difference. I'm delighted for his owner Carol Roper, she's had horses with us for a long time and she's a very loyal supporter of ours. She gets a great kick out of them winning, she wasn't able to come today but that will give her a great boost. He's a great servant. There isn't a lot here for him with the way his rating has gone. I have him in at Laytown on Monday and he's in there off his turf rating so I'll have to sleep on that.
Big Dream collects for McCann & Moore
We bought him at the sales, we were told he wasn't a bad horse and to take a chance on him. He's very well bred. He worked up here four weeks ago and he worked very well and then again last Thursday and he went very well again. We're very happy with him and he's a nice horse. We didn't think he'd do it as well as he did but we think he had a bit of ability. It's great for Jonny to get back on the board, he's back riding out for me every day. It's great to get him back on the Flat. We had a poor run up north today with a horse we think a lot of (Simply Shabra) so I wasn't really expecting that. He'll come on so much for that, as it's only his second run. Jonny said he was pulling himself up passing the horse gate, went again and was then pulling himself up at the line.
McDonogh finds the line on Punk Poet
He got 4lb for the other day for being third, he ran a blinder. The first two pulled a good bit clear of the third tonight so I hope he doesn't get a joke of a rise now. He was tough and battled well. He's a good horse, he's not a very good horse, but he's a good horse and he's tough. Hopefully we'll get another go with him up here.
Change of fortune for Bunyan as Dreams delivers
Thank-God, that's the first photo we've came out the right side of all year!. I've never had as many seconds since I started training. Even the other day we had two of them fighting out a finish up the Curragh and we ended up second and third. I'm delighted with this lad, he's a very versatile horse as he goes on heavy ground on the grass and loves this surface up here. He's a horse we'll have plenty of fun with here over the winter. He'll tip away here and he might even jump a hurdle in time but we'll concentrate on the Flat for now. Jamie (Powell) is fantastic value for his 7lb, he's ridden a bit for us lately and he's an old head on young shoulders. He has impressed me a lot on any horse he's rode for us so far. He's a young lad with a very bright future. Not just because he won tonight, they always do things right when they win but I think he's a kid going places.

Guild takes finale for Comer & Hayes
He ran a very good race in Thurles on his first run back (since April). This place suits him, any good races he's run it's been here, and he was off a handier mark than he was. After the run in Thurles we were fairly confident that he'd run well. He was running over two miles but he seemed to handle a mile-and-a-half very well today. He'll probably come here for as many chances as he can get over the winter. Please God it's onwards and upwards.
