Permission was given for Reaching The Moon (GB) to go early to post and to wear a red hood to the start.
Approximately ½ furlong out, the winner, Drusilla (GB), and Run Of Luck (GB), placed second, both hung left- handed, independent of each other.
Shortly thereafter, when on the run to the line, Drusilla (GB), shifted further left-handed before being quickly corrected by its rider, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Drusilla (GB).
The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Drusilla (GB) which had never previously been placed, was considered.
Daniel Kubler explained that the filly had appreciated the Heavy going on this occasion.
