An enquiry was held to consider the circumstances surrounding Pearly Gaits (GB), trained by Bill Turner, being spooked by loud music shortly after entering the Parade Ring, causing her to become loose and crash through the rail, resulting in her being withdrawn by the Stewards.
Two representatives of the Managing Executives were interviewed.
After hearing their evidence, the Stewards ordered a report to be forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
Following the race, Nicola Currie reported that Bargain, unplaced, was outpaced throughout.
