Going - Good (Good to Firm in Places on Sprint Course). Fine
Liberty Island follows up
He's a five furlong specialist. Ross rides him at home and he is improving all the time as a jockey. The horse likes those races. They suit him. He just did enough today and he likes good ground.
Slim Chance lands gamble
We fancied her and thought she would be hard to beat. She was working well and hopefully she will improve for that.
Timely winner for Weld
Lady Bennett proves too strong
She got a nice bit of weight off the older horses. Chris gave her a lovely ride as she's not simple. She's entered at Galway and we might put her out again quickly. She is in there on the Thursday (three-year-olds only) and later in the week (three-year-olds and upwards). Both races are over a mile and a half which I think she gets.
Trans City and Murtagh team up well
He's a lovely horse and I've always rated him. Heavy ground doesn't suit him. I can see him as a dual purpose horse.
Galileos Daughter shows her ability
She did it the hard way. I was waiting for Galway, but she was bouncing and in good form so I came here. With her breeding I will try and get black type with her. She's a gross filly even though she stripped tight tonight and will improve for that. It was a competitive maiden. I only have two flat horses in training. The owner Eilish O'Reilly is from Dublin. It's a pity she couldn't make it as she is a gorgeous looking woman who would have taken a great photo!. This is her first horse and first winner.
