The Starter reported that Ayr Poet (GB) was unruly in the stalls and withdrawn at 1:57pm.
Jim Goldie was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
An enquiry was held to consider two incidents of interference from approaching the final furlong when Mercurius Power (IRE), placed third, ridden by Lewis Edmunds, interfered with Cusack (GB), placed second, ridden by Jonny Peate.
The first incident was found to be accidental as Mercurius Power (IRE) shifted quickly left-handed carrying Cusack (GB) off its intended line.
For the second incident, Edmunds was cautioned for careless riding as he continued to allow his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction carrying Cusack (GB) slightly off its intended line.
Following the race, Luke Morris reported that Sagauteur (FR), unplaced, ran too free.
