He ran last week here . he came out of that well so we decided to have a look. If there'd been a hot-pot in it we probably wouldn't have run. He's always been a good honest colt and very straight-forward. The owner is a good client. I don't think there is much left for the horse this year.

He's a nice horse. He'll improve a lot and he could be anything. I'm not sure what he beat or the sort of race that was. We thought he'd improve for the run and it is unusual for one of mine to win first time out.
Fahey Obviously has a smart one
I'm absolutely delighted. After Cork he was going to be sold but things just didn't work out. He was impressive there and Joseph said he could be listed or group class. He should know . he is riding plenty of those types. He could be something to look forward too though the owners are keen to sell. He is in at Newmarket sales and that's probably him finished now for the year. We'll see what happens.

We knew she was in great form but we had two concerns coming here. Firstly she hadn't run on the surface before and we weren't sure how she'd cope. As well as that we didn't know whether she'd get the trip. She had been finishing her previous races off well though. We were hopeful without being confident. She done it easy enough and she got a grand ride from Declan. He was delighted with her. It is great for us as we only have a couple in training. We're thrilled.

That's a happy end to the evening. He is in again on Sunday (at Naas) with a 5Ib penalty. We'll see how he is . he might run. He'll probably come back here then for the Carlingford Stakes. He is potentially a good hurdler.
