I didn't really know how fit he was. He had a break and went back to Dan's. He'll probably go now for a handicap hurdle at either Aintree or Fairyhouse. I'd love to bring him to Aintree as I feel it would really suit him. I'll have to see what Dan wants to do though. He's been a great horse for us. Last year he won good handicap hurdles at Fairyhouse and Killarney and he was second at Punchestown. Adrian McGuinness, trainer

An extended handicap for four yrs old and upwards (85 = 9st 10lb)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap; shall not be less than 9st 10lb
Penalties - -(after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra; for each race won. Any horse rated above 85 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 9st 10lb. Subsequently, the excess over 85 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any four year old rated above 85 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
