That'll Be The Day impresses for Mangan & Magnier
We think a lot of him and he always works well at home. We were going to give him a few more point-to-points as he's a bit rusty. Phillip said he was still a bit green when he went to the front. We think he's going to make a very good long-distance horse. That's the first horse I've had for the owner.
No Trouble for Murphy as she registers first success
I started off as a conditional with Barry's cousin Davy Fitzgerald and turned back amateur last year. I broke my pelvis but I'm getting back going now. My brother Aidan's wife Ashling owns her. Rochelle rides out for Aidan and she came in two days last week and gave her a school again. It's great for everyone. The yard is flying and that's our second winner in the last two weeks. She ran well the last day and coming back to two miles helped her. She galloped through the line on the soft ground. We'll see what the handicapper does and hopefully she'll pick up another one after that.
Waterford all the way as Chenery just holds on
I'm training out of Dungarvan and have a few horses mainly for point-to-points. I worked for John Kiely for years but I'm no relation. It probably took the run the last day to get her up to speed again and I was praying for the line to come. She deserved it as she's tough and genuine. My last winner on the track was Inchiquin High in a bumper. We were a long time waiting for this one but we won't complain. She might go to Cork in a few weeks' time, an 80-109 (rating) for qualified riders. My brother Richie owns her and won on her in a point-to-point so I'm sure he'd be anxious that she'd go there.

'That was fun' as Score exhibits jumping prowess
Solomon provides Scallan with first track success
The last day in Naas he pulled very hard and today we put the hood on him and he settled well. He jumps great and loves the heavy ground. Jamie got a great education with the late William Codd. Jack Hendrick and himself came up to work for us and they are both after having their first winners on the track. They have plenty of point-to-point experience and are two chaps that are going in the right direction. I was nearly going to Cheltenham with this horse. He was in great form coming here after a good run in Naas and I thought he'd improved from it. He's owned by Roger Brookhouse and could go to Aintree. If not he'll go to Punchestown.
