Henry de Bromhead and Patrick Mullins combined to take the 'Doc's Bumper' Point-To-Point INH Flat Race for the third year in-a-row, as Journey With Me impressively justified odds-on favouritism.

A winner of a point-to-point for Michael Murphy at Ballindenisk in November of last year, the son of Mahler was expected to follow-up this afternoon and was sent off the clear market leader at 4/7.

Sent straight to the front by Mullins, the Robcour owned chestnut made all and never came off the bridle, as he eased to a thirteen length success. Galudon (7/1) finished second under Derek O'Connor for Sam Curling, while Golden Bidar was another forty-seven lengths away in third.

de Bromhead, who was completing a double on the card, said afterwards: "He's a real galloper. He was obviously an impressive point-to-point winner and we were fortunate enough to be able to buy him. Mick Murphy recommended him to us and we're delighted to get him.

"He's a big jumping type and still very raw. A summers grass now and he'll be a lovely horse for hurdling next year."

Minella Melody claimed this race for Mullins and de Bromhead in 2019, while they again teamed-up with the exciting Bob Olinger twelve months ago.
