Permission was given for Firefox (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference after the second last flight of hurdles, involving Lookaway (IRE), placed third, ridden by Jack Quinlan and Firefox (IRE), placed second, ridden by Jack Kennedy.
Kennedy was cautioned for careless riding as he shifted his mount left-handed, taking Quinlan slightly off his intended line, resulting in Quinlan having to switch right-handed to continue his run.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Personal Ambition (IRE), placed sixth, lost its left-hind shoe.
