The winner, Solar Impulse (FR), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Aintree on 14 May 2021 where the gelding finished fourth of seven runners, beaten by 25 lengths.
The representative of Ian Williams explained that Solar Impulse had benefited from the application of a first- time visor on this occasion.
His comments were noted and the gelding was routine tested.
Following the race, Adam Wedge reported that Court Royale (IRE), which was pulled up, made a bad mistake at the first fence in the back straight on the final circuit and was never travelling thereafter.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Duke Of Navan (IRE), placed fourth, lost its right-fore shoe.
