FormscanBy Tom Weekes - HOGANVILLE showed glimpses of form as a four year old but improved when second on reappearance last month. His form is on good ground, which is a concern, but he bumped in an experienced winner in a big-field handicap at Cork and improvement is possible. Killinure Lass was 12th in that Cork race but subsequently won at Kilbeggan, defeating Rosy Story and Whatsstoppingyou into second and third, with little separating the trio. Bearwithmenow was well supported when winning at Wexford and can compete from 7lb higher while point-to-point winner Townhill Penny ran well enough at Downpatrick but needs to show more. Lightening Star steps up in distance having run well at Limerick while Lily Light Foot, Rose Mahler, Ocojohn, Alfieri and Added Bonus, a 17-race maiden, have recent placed form. Chief Seattle was behind Killinure Lass at Kilbeggan and a week later finished second at that venue, with Tipperary Dexter third.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-95Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 7lb extra for each hurdle race won.
