That's Me Finished swooped on the run-in to land the spoils in the McDermott Farm Machinery Handicap Hurdle at Sligo. Glenmorefiftyfour went on before the second last in the two-and-a-half mile contest but the distress signals started to go out over the final flight.

Jody McGarvey got a good tune from That's Me Finished in the closing stages and he got up to record a two-and-three-quarter length success at odds of 8/1.

The Noel Kelly-trained had been well beaten on his most recent outing at Clonmel in mid-May but was supported from as a big as 40/1 this morning, after getting in as third reserve.

Kelly said: "Jody said he never thought he was going to get there until after the last. I'd say they probably went pretty fast out in front and stopped. We weren't sure about the soft ground but obviously he handled it and he's a horse that needs two mile-six plus.

"He's not a very fluent jumper of either hurdles or fences and he was snatching at his hurdles today but at least he gets over them. Over fences, he's terrible!

"He's in again at Ballinrobe on Monday because we thought he wouldn't get in here. I'll have a chat with the owners to see if they want to go there, or else we'll freshen him up.

"The horses are running very well and that's four winners so far this month."
