The plan after Galway was to come here because of the good pot,. I actually really fancied him, I thought at the furlong pole he was going to come home on his own. James has done two pieces of work with him in the last week and we were confident. Fair play to the Curragh, for a small trainer like me to run for 20 grand is a big thing. McGettigan, unplaced, Naisiun, ridden by R.P. Cleary, unplaced, and Gallo Dell Cielo, ridden by R. Donaghue- Leahy, unplaced, where it appeared an incident occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.P

Cleary stated that he received pressure from his left forcing him onto Gallo Dell Ciello and to clip a heel. R

Donaghue-Leahy stated that she got pressure from her left. P. McGettigan stated that his mount hung right at the time of the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that P. McGettigan was in breach of R.214 (careless riding) and in considering his clean record record, they suspended him for five racedays

Cleary, unplaced, Kiki Roberts, ridden by J.A. Powell, unplaced, Si Senior, ridden by P. McGettigan, unplaced, and It's A Gamble, ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced, where it appeared an incident occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.M. Crosse stated that as the field filed across to the stand rail he received pressure from his right. J.A. Powell stated that he received pressure from his right. P. McGettigan stated that he took off heels from the retreating The Mpex Kid forcing him to make contact with Kiki Roberts. J. Cleary confirmed that he was in front of the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that P. McGettigan was in breach of Rule 214 (careless riding) and suspended him for two racedays. In arriving at their decision, the Raceday Stewards did not consider the riders earlier breach of Rule 214 and treated this breach as a first offence
