At 10-1 for Tuesday's showpiece, Vauban is worth consideration as he put up an eye-catching performance on his seasonal debut against State Man and then chased home State Man and Honeysuckle in the Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown last month, finishing only half a length down to Honeysuckle in the Irish Champion Hurdle last time.

The next time all eyes will be on Constitution Hill is at the Cheltenham Festival in the Champion Hurdle as trainer Nicky Henderson recently announced his Champion Hurdle hot favourite will head straight there without a prep run.
Following an impressive victory in the Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton, I like To Move It, trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies has entered the betting for the Champion Hurdle at 25-1. Connections have always thought highly of this progressive six year old, who won the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham before finishing 6th in the Relkeel Hurdle on New Year's Day. An intriguing contender who adds extra interest to the race.
Trainer Gordon Elliott has recently announced that Zanahiyr, who finished third behind Honeysuckle in last year's Champion Hurdle, before being disqualified after testing positive for a banned raceday substance, will be ridden for a place in this year's Champion Hurdle. He said:
"Obviously it looks a very hot race, with Constitution Hill and State Man and a few others, but our idea is we are going to go.
“We will get a look at all the weights (in other races) and see what’s what. It will probably be by the end of the week before we confirm what is going where.”
Not So Sleepy looks likely to take his chance in the Champion Hurdle for trainer Hughie Morrison. This versatile and talented type finished third behind Constitution Hill in the Fighting Fifth at Newcastle and finished sixth last season in this contest. Retirement is also on the cards for the eleven-year-old who has been a great servant for connections.
